INSPIRATIONS

There is nothing that has inspired me more over the years than the precious love and living hope I find in the word of God. My life verse is found in Lamentations 3:21-26 NLT:
"Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, "The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him!" The Lord is good to those who depend on Him, to those who search for Him. So it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD."
If one waits long enough, surely the rose bush will bloom again! God's mercies to me, over the years, have been like a fresh bouquet of flowers waiting for my eyes to open and greet the new day. On the days I did not see them, it was only because I had become so accustomed to the fresh blooms waiting for me that they became nothing more than part of the landscape surrounding me. It takes much quiet waiting to appreciate the fact every day brings a fresh bloom that is distinctly different than the day before, though it seems like what I saw yesterday. The longer I quietly wait, the deeper the smell of the bloom becomes and the more the fragrance whispers a story of life, love, and hope.
